She filled us in on all the historical info, but pointed out hidden things and meanings in paintings, etc. She had a great sense of humor and took much pride in being southern Italian. Her English was fantastic. I've been on the Reggia tour with a rental headset that explains the rooms, and without a headset, just reading the signs. “This is a stunning place with amazing grounds and gardens! Unfortunately, the inside was closed, however, the gardens are lovely, and it’s also nice to pay 10 Euros per person for a golf cart to take your party up and down the hill to see all the gardens without having to walk uphill in the heat.”
